The Cafe at Oceana offers casual seating at the front of the restaurant, where intimate booths and high tops provide a comfortable spot for small bites, cocktails, and people watching.
At the center of The Cafe is our magnificent Raw Bar, crafted from veined Paneozetti marble to evoke the image of moving water. Here, we showcase the day’s bounty of fresh seafood, hand-selected that morning by Chef Ben and our dedicated buyer. Our relationships with our vendors, some of which span generations, enable us to procure ingredients of the highest quality from waters across the river and across the globe.
Selections at the Raw Bar include six varieties of oysters, littleneck clams, periwinkles, whelks, mussels, sea urchins, chilled shrimp, Maine lobster, king crab legs, and stone crab claws. To complement the pure and natural flavors, Chef Ben offers a range of sweet and savory sauces, including a curry-leaf vinaigrette, piquillo pepper aioli, whole-grain mustard aioli, passion fruit mignonette and Oceana’s own tangy cocktail sauce. Contemporary classics like crudos, ceviches, and tartars are also available, as are a variety of luxurious caviar plates.
