Our newly modernized private dining spaces, complete with commissioned works from artist Kyvèli Zoi , a graduate of NYC’s prestigious School of Visual Arts, offer options to accommodate a variety of special events like weddings, meetings, presentations and wine dinners. Our exceptional cuisine, graceful service, and central location make Oceana the ideal destination for business functions and personal celebrations alike.
The Wine Room, Grand Salon, Salon North, and Salon South are unique and flexible settings for private events, while The Café offers a more casual setting for informal, semi-private gatherings and customizable cocktail parties. For an outdoor event, the spectacular Park at Oceana – complete with specialty lighting and water feature – is open at night and on the weekends during the warmer months. The entirety of Oceana is available for (socially distanced) weddings and larger soirees*.
Private Dining Rooms
THE WINE ROOM
Named for its floor-to-ceiling display of Oceana’s magnificent wine selection, this room provides a dramatic backdrop for events with up to 18* guests. Decorative glass panels admit the natural light and ambience of the main dining room while ensuring complete privacy. As part of Oceana’s redesign, two custom art pieces by Athens-based artist Kyvèli Zoi flank The Wine Room walls. Titled Life is a Game, the series depicts a large gathering of friends, which perfectly captures an intimate and festive event at Oceana.
THE SALON NORTH
Tucked in the back corner of the restaurant, featuring two walls of windows and dark wood, this private space can accommodate up to 30* seated guests and up to 50* guests for a standing reception.
THE SALON SOUTH
Featuring dark wood and windows overlooking The Park at Oceana, this private space can accommodate up to 50* seated guests and up to 70* guests for a standing reception.
THE GRAND SALON
This airy space offers the most variety of configurations, combining The Salon South and The Salon North, to create a space for a maximum of 96* guests seated or 120* guests standing. The Salons also feature works by Zoi. Her Drama Must Remain on Stage series serves as as a nod to Broadway’s famed theatres.
THE PARK AT OCEANA
In the warmer months, The Park at Oceana offers an outdoor venue for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres when used in conjunction with one of our private Salons. The space is only accessible on the weekends and after 7pm on weekdays.
THE CHEF’S TABLE
Set inside the bustling kitchen, this private table for four offers a unique view of our team in action. Guests enjoy an intimate dining experience with a behind-the-scenes look at the care and craftsmanship that go into the preparation of our dishes. Seasonal tasting menus can be arranged for your pleasure.
THE CAFE AND PATIO
From a casual meeting at adjacent high top tables to a cordoned off area for a more formal reception, we can accommodate groups of 8 to 80* guests year round in our café area and in the warmer months, al fresco on our adjacent patio. The areas are generally not available for reservations, but groups are welcome to book in advance through our events department.
