Oceana will be open on Sundays from November 25 to December 30, 2018! Our bar will open at 3pm, and dinner service will be available from 4pm-9pm. Our $49 Theatre Menu will also be available all day on Sunday during the holiday season!

Greenmarket Tour & Cooking Class

Saturday, October 6, 9:30am

This October, join Executive Chef Bill Telepan for a Saturday morning excursion to New York City’s beloved Union Square Greenmarket, followed by an interactive hands-on cooking class in Oceana’s world-class kitchen.

Meet up with Chef Bill in Union Square, where you’ll explore the Greenmarket as a group, engaging with the local growers and farmers that Oceana buys from each week. As one of the City’s first and most passionate proponents of greenmarket cooking, Chef Bill will share with you his insights and expertise as he selects fresh ingredients for the day’s meal.

Once the shopping bags are full, the group will return to Oceana together to prepare and enjoy a family-style lunch. Work side-by-side in the kitchen with Chef Bill as he guides you through the preparation of each dish, demonstrating the tricks of his trade along the way. The menu will be determined by what’s available at the market that morning, so get ready to be inspired and eat fresh!

$100 per person, including tax, gratuity & select wines

Telepan Saturday Series at the Oceana Raw Bar

Take a seat at Oceana’s raw bar to experience a 14-course tasting menu created by Executive Chef Bill Telepan. The one-of-a-kind menu changes with each dinner in the series and offers guests a chance to enjoy a variety of unique, off-menu dishes.

Summer may be winding down, but our lobsters are still on a roll! Swing by Oceana while the weather is fine and grab a great meal-on-the-go from our Lobster Cart. Throughout September, we’ll be outside in the breezeway (on the western side of the restaurant) serving up lobster rolls every Thursday and Friday from 11:30am to 4pm.

Help Us Celebrate a Sweet September!

Satisfy your sweet tooth this September at Oceana. From September 1st through the 30th, participating New York City restaurants and sweet shops, including Oceana, will donate $1 to Citymeals every time you buy one of their designated Sweet September desserts.

This year, Oceana will be featuring  the Chocolate Bar (peanut butter rice crispy crust, grape jelly, white chocolate crémeux, chocolate sorbet), prepared by Executive Pastry Chef Douglas Hernandez!

New York Chefs Celebrate Japan: A Benefit for the Gohan Society
At this spectacular benefit, Chef Bill will be among the chefs from New York City’s top restaurants to gather in honor of Chef Michael Anthony of Gramercy Tavern and Chef Shin Takagi Japan’s famed Zeniya restaurant. The evening’s celebration will feature a range of Japanese delicacies as well as a variety of once-in-a-lifetime auction packages, with proceeds to benefit the Gohan Society.

At this year’s gala, Chef Bill will receive the Health, Wellness & Nutrition Award for his work promoting childhood fitness and nutrition through Wellness in the Schools. The evening’s meal will also feature a recipe from Chef Bill himself! The annual fundraiser celebrates the The Orthopaedic Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to cutting-edge research and education for the prevention of musculoskeletal diseases.
